BIO
I am curious about the world and ready to be amazed at the magic and wit, irony and portent of the everyday.
A decade of traditional and electronic exploration has produced photographic storytelling, paintings and work which combines the two. My palette can be a riot of flowers, politics, pure abstraction and formal exploration.
Suffice to say that I have the bluest of skies, political statistics and raw poetic imagery residing side by side inside my head moment to moment.
Currently residing in Seattle, I graduated with a BFA in Comparative Literature at Northern Arizona University and studied illustration at the Academy of Art College in San Francisco; art at California College of Arts and Crafts and Laney College in Oakland; and design and photography at School of Visual Concepts and Photo Center NW in Seattle.
My work has been published in magazines, books, internet sites and corporate publications. Recently I was selected as one of 13 artists whose videos were screened by 4Culture in downtown Seattle for a year.
Discovery will always lead the way for me -- the medium could be graphite or a photon glide path. Adventure and a joyful journey matter most.
